Located at Dalton in North Yorkshire, this is the largest of the operating Companies and is the hub of much of the Group's activity.
On its 55 acre site it now has 10 production lines where the manufacturing process is undertaken in a controlled environment, with the capacity to process some 3,200 tonnes of steel per week.
It is a model example in the industry, and it is the Company's clear intention to keep it so.

Examples of the progressive attitude of the Company are the "state of the art" and innovative plate line, along with two intumescent paint lines.
From these installations, cost and quality benefits are now being realised, and there is the expectation that they will have an increasing impact on future business.
There are similar expectations from the introduction of the specially designed Firebeam®, capable of two hours fire resistance.
The streamlined nature of the manufacturing facility, with all its attendant efficiencies, is geared for the strong element of repeat business in the structures market.
